Integrating Netsparker Enterprise with Zapier

Zapier is a web-based service that allows end users to integrate the web applications they use and automate their workflows. Zapier applications can help you capture, track, manage and fix bugs and other issues that arise when building or managing a web project.

This topic explains how to configure Netsparker Enterprise to send a detected vulnerability to Zapier.

Zapier Fields

The table lists and explains the Zapier fields in the New Zapier Integration window.




This is the name of the configuration that will be shown elsewhere.


This section contains fields that must be completed.

Webhook URL

This is the WebHook URL to which to send issues.

Title Format

This is the string format that is used to create the vulnerability title.

Create Sample Issue

Once all relevant fields have been configured, click to create a sample issue.

How to Integrate Netsparker Enterprise with Zapier

  1. Log in to Netsparker Enterprise.
  2. From the main menu, click Integrations, then New Integration.

  1. From the Issue Tracking Systems section, click Zapier. The New Zapier Integration window is displayed.

  1. In the Name field, enter a name for the integration.
  2. In the Mandatory section, complete the following field. You will return to the WebHook URL later.
    • Title Format
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Create Sample Issue to confirm that Netsparker Enterprise can connect to the configure system and create a sample issue. A confirmation message is displayed to confirm that the sample issue has been successfully created.

  1. Log in to Zapier.
  2. Click Make a Zap!, then search for 'webhook' as illustrated.

  1. Select Catch Hook. Catch Hook waits for the requests.

  1. Zapier generates a WebHook URL. Click Copy.

  1. In Netsparker, in the WebHooks URL field, paste this URL.
  2. Click Create Sample Issue to confirm that Netsparker Enterprise can connect to the configured system and create a sample issue.
  3. In Zapier, following this request, the body: and title: fields are displayed.

  1. Click Continue to complete the trigger. (Then an action needs to be created with any Zapier application like sending email.)

How to Export Reported vulnerabilities to Projects in Zapier

Please ensure that you have first configured Zapier integration. See How to Integrate Zapier with Netsparker Standard.
  1. Open Netsparker Standard.
  2. From the ribbon, select the File tab. Local Scans are displayed. Doubleclick the relevant scan to display its results.

  1. In the Issues panel, right click the vulnerability you want to export to Zapier and select Send to Zapier. (Alternatively, from the ribbon, click the Vulnerability tab, then Send To Zapier.) A link is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Click the Zapier Send To Action is executed for the selected vulnerability. Click to open in the default browser. link to view the newly-created issue in Zapier.
  2. The vulnerability is automatically exported to Zapier. You can view it in Zapier's Issues tab.
